“Recovery isn’t just about healing—it’s about coming back stronger”
Hi, I’m Ross! I’m a physiotherapist with a passion for helping people overcome injuries and return to doing what they love. I graduated from Ulster University in 2018 with a FirstClass Honours degree in Physiotherapy and went on to complete my Master’s in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2019. My postgraduate studies focused on the diagnosis and management of chronic ankle instability, which remains one of my key areas of interest today.
Since graduating, I’ve worked across both private musculoskeletal practice and NHS roles, gaining a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of conditions. My career has also taken me into the exciting world of sports physiotherapy. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside the Irish Masters Hockey squads at the World Cup in Barcelona in 2018, supporting Munster U18 boys at their interprovincial tournament, and working with elite men’s and ladies’ hockey clubs across Ireland.
Additionally, I’ve served as the lead physiotherapist for the N. Ireland junior football teams, working as part of a multidisciplinary medical and sports science team. Supporting young athletes as they prepare for both domestic and international competitions has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
When you come to see me, I’ll take the time to understand your needs, whether it’s recovering from an injury, improving performance, or simply moving pain-free. I’m here to guide you through a personalised treatment plan that combines hands-on therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and evidence-based techniques.
Core techniques: Diagnosis and Management of Chronic Ankle Instability, Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal Injuries, Sports and Exercise Medicine and Manual Therapy and Functional Rehabilitation.

“Every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger”
Hi, I’m Craig! I’ve always been passionate about helping people recover, move better, and feel stronger. My journey started at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2021. I recently completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine, where my dissertation focused on the prevalence of low back pain in hockey players—a topic close to my heart as both a physiotherapist and an athlete.
Joining Lisburn Physiotherapy is extra special for me because I get to work alongside my brother Ryan, as well as James and my dad, as part of the Lisnagarvey Hockey Club community. Hockey has been a big part of my life—I’ve represented Ulster and Ireland at U16 to U23 levels. My own experience as an athlete, combined with a hip surgery in 2017, has shaped how I approach physiotherapy. I understand what it’s like to recover from injuries, and I’m here to guide you through your own journey with empathy and expertise.
I specialise in rehabilitation for spinal, hip, and shoulder injuries. I also have a keen interest in paediatric physiotherapy, helping younger patients get back to their best after injuries. Every treatment I deliver is tailored to your specific needs, whether you’re an athlete aiming to get back on the field or someone looking to move through daily life with less pain and more confidence.
Core Treatments: Rehabilitation of spinal, hip, and shoulder injuries; paediatric physiotherapy and rehabilitation; sports and exercise medicine; and evidence-based management of low back pain.
MANTAS MASILIUNAS
Sports Massage Therapist - (Certified in Belfast, 2013-2015)
“Most people have no idea how good their body is designed to feel.“
Hi, I’m Mantas! I’ve been a sports massage therapist since earning my Active IQ Level 3 certificate, but my passion for helping people feel their best started much earlier. Coming from a professional boxing background—where I proudly represented Lithuania as a National Champion and International Medallist (96 fights, 66 wins!)—I’ve experienced first-hand how the body can endure, recover, and thrive.
Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for being the kind of therapist who’s always learning and improving. I love blending different techniques like cupping, massage guns, scraping, passive stretches, and trigger point therapy to create treatments tailored just for you. Whether you need gentle relief or a seriously deep massage, I adapt my approach to suit your needs.
My philosophy is simple: Find the knots, fight them, and finish them off! My clients often say I provide one of the deepest massages they’ve ever had—perfect for those who love deep tissue work.
Beyond my technical skills, I bring patience, resilience, and a strong work ethic to every session. I aim to create a friendly and professional space where you feel supported in your journey to being pain-free.
Core Treatments: Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Elite Recovery Scraping and Signature Massage.

“”Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.”
Hi, I’m Mark! I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel stronger, move better, and get back to doing what they love. I earned my master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, and during my training, I had the chance to work in both NHS and private practices. That’s when I really found my love for musculoskeletal physiotherapy—helping people overcome injuries, pain, and stiffness to live their lives to the fullest.
My journey even brought me here to Lisburn Physiotherapy for my final placement, and I loved it so much I never left! Along the way, I’ve also picked up advanced skills in sports massage, pitch-side first aid, and sports rehabilitation taping. Whether you’re dealing with a recent injury, recovering after surgery, or just trying to manage some ongoing aches and pains, I’ve got the tools and knowledge to help.
When you come to see me, we’ll start with a thorough chat and assessment—this helps me really understand what’s going on and what your goals are. From there, I’ll tailor a plan just for you, using hands-on techniques like manual therapy, joint mobilisations, and targeted exercises. My goal isn’t just to get you feeling better in the short term, but to help you stay that way by giving you the tools and confidence to prevent future injuries.
Outside the clinic, you’ll probably find me on the football field. I play for my local club and have represented Ulster, so I know firsthand how frustrating injuries can be—not just physically, but mentally too. That’s why I work hard to make sure you feel supported throughout your recovery.
Core treatments: Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sports Massage, Sports Rehabilitation Taping, Manual Therapy and Joint Mobilisations and Functional Rehabilitation Exercises.

“Your potential is endless—let’s unlock it together”
Hi, I’m Sophie! I’m passionate about helping people feel stronger, move better, and live pain-free. My journey as a physiotherapist started when I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree from the University of Liverpool in 2018. I knew I wanted to offer more than just the basics, so I went on to complete a Master’s in Exercise and Nutrition Science at the University of Tampa, Florida. That’s where I developed my expertise in exercise prescription, strength and conditioning, and nutrition science, which form the foundation of my treatments.
Over the years, I’ve worked in so many incredible settings, from the NHS and private practices to elite sports environments. I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last three winters in St. Anton, Austria, and Niseko, Japan, where I worked as a physiotherapist and massage therapist, helping people recover and thrive on and off the slopes.
During the summers, I’ve been part of the Women’s and Men’s British Wheelchair Basketball Teams, supporting them at international competitions and getting ready for the 2024 Paris Paralympics—it’s been such a rewarding experience! I also work with the Irish Football Association, helping the U15 Women’s Development Squad as they grow and develop their skills.
When you come to see me, my focus is on you—your goals, your progress, and your success. I’ll use my knowledge in exercise prescription, nutrition science, and strength and conditioning principles, alongside hands-on treatments, to create a plan tailored to your needs. Whether it’s managing pain, improving performance, or simply making daily life easier, I’m here to support you every step of the way
Core treatments: Exercise Prescription, Strength and Conditioning Principles, Nutrition Science & Manual Therapy.

“Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress.”
Hi, I’m Ryan! I’ve been a physiotherapist for over six years now, and I absolutely love what I do. My journey began at the University of Ulster, where I graduated in 2018, and I quickly followed that up with a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to work in a variety of settings, each of which has shaped how I approach patient care today.
From private practices to NHS outpatient departments, inpatient hospital wards, sports teams, and even healthcare in prisons, I’ve had the opportunity to treat a wide range of conditions and meet people from all walks of life. These experiences have helped me develop a well-rounded approach to physiotherapy and a knack for tailoring treatments to fit each individual. I’ve even taken time out to play a season of hockey in Australia and travel across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand—an adventure that gave me new perspectives, both personally and professionally.
In 2021, I trained to become an EPI-certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, which really sparked my passion for rehabilitating complex sporting injuries. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping athletes get back to the sports they love and making sure they’re set up to stay injury-free. I’ve also completed further training in cognitive behavioural therapy and an advanced module on diagnosing and managing low back pain. I’ve intentionally kept my learning broad so I can support patients of all ages and backgrounds.
When you come to see me, my goal is simple: to help you achieve yours. Whether it’s returning to high-level sports performance or just getting through your daily tasks with less pain and more ease, we’ll work together to create a plan that fits your life. I’m all about partnership—listening to what matters most to you and using a combination of evidence-based techniques and practical advice to make lasting progress.
If you’re ready to move better, feel stronger, and take control of your recovery, I’d love to be part of your journey. Let’s make it happen!
Core treatments: Rehabilitation of Complex Sporting Injuries, Strength and Conditioning Coaching, Low Back Pain Management & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Integration.
